Friday 29th May: Applications close for the CAFOD great gap year scheme for the September 2015 placement at Newman University. If you’re aged 18-24 and have experience of University life, apply for the placement as a Chaplaincy Assistant at Newman University, which includes a three week visit to CAFOD partners. Monday 8th June: Restore’s Annual Meeting from 7.30pm at Carrs Lane Church in the city centre. It will be a celebration and overview of Restore’s work. All are welcome.
Thursday 11th June: St. Chad's Sanctuary Open Evening
From 6pm to 9pm.72-74 Shadwell St, Birmingham B4 6HA. An opportunity to meet the Sanctuary team and see what they do with the many kind donations, and to hear stories from asylum seekers and refugees. A rolling schedule each hour to see the building and join an introductory workshop on work with asylum seekers. All welcome.
